This year, one Okanagan trades business gets a clean slate. We will catch up as much as 12 months of your bookkeeping (up to 500 transactions), then give you a free report on your business, built from your caught-up books, and walk you through it.

Why we're doing this
Murtagh & Co. is run by Devon Murtagh, CFA, FRM, a former trades business owner. We would rather show you what clean books can do than tell you. The winner agrees to let us share their story (we can leave your business name out).
Giveaway rules
No purchase necessary. Open to trades and construction businesses operating in the Okanagan, BC, whose owner is 19 or older. One entry per business. Current Murtagh & Co. clients are not eligible. Entries close Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 11:59 pm Pacific. One winner is drawn at random from eligible entries on Monday, November 9, 2026 and must correctly answer the skill-testing question. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries.
Prize: bookkeeping catch-up of up to 12 months and up to 500 transactions in total, plus a report on the business prepared from the caught-up books (approximate value up to $1,300). A transaction is one line on a bank or credit card statement, counted across all accounts. GST/HST filings, tax returns and payroll are not included. The prize has no cash value and can't be transferred.
The winner is contacted by email, must confirm the business is registered or GST-registered in BC, and must provide complete bank and credit card statements for the catch-up period within 14 days, or a new winner is drawn. The winner agrees to a case study (business name optional) and a 20-minute feedback call.
Every entrant, including the winner for work outside the prize, receives 20% off any work billed in their first 6 months as a client if they sign an engagement by January 31, 2027. We use your details to run the giveaway and to send you the result and your 20% offer, and we never sell or share them. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or run by Facebook or Instagram.
